Scent Marketing for Airports & Travel Lounges
Airport scenting gives a lounge, a VIP terminal or a terminal hall a calm, recognisable fragrance that travellers meet on arrival. Lounges and VIP terminals are scented with professional diffusers, large terminal halls through the building's HVAC where the air handling allows, and every system runs on the terminal's own schedule, around the clock. Scent Up installs and services it in Thailand, the Philippines and Malaysia.
Where This Matters
Scent Considerations for Airports
Airline & Airport Lounges
The space where a lounge's identity is felt most: a consistent fragrance from the welcome desk to the seating areas, kept away from the buffet and bar.
VIP & Private Terminals
A more personal fragrance treatment for VIP terminals and private-jet facilities, where every arrival is a small number of guests.
Terminal Arrival & Check-in
Large, high-ceilinged halls are usually scented through the building's HVAC where the air handling allows, with standalone units for areas it doesn't reach.
Airport Hotels & Retail
Airport hotels, duty-free and terminal shops can carry their own brand fragrance, scented and serviced like any hotel or store.
Around-the-Clock Operation
Running times are set to the terminal's real schedule, including overnight flights, and service is planned around it.
Every Lounge the Same
An airline or lounge operator can keep one fragrance across lounges in several airports, with equipment sized for each space.

FAQ
Airports Scent Marketing FAQs
What is airport scent marketing?
Airport scent marketing is the planned use of one fragrance in an airport's lounges, VIP terminals, arrival halls or terminal retail, as part of the travel experience and the brand. Scent Up chooses the fragrance with the operator, installs HVAC scenting or professional diffusers, and services them on the terminal's schedule.
Which airport spaces suit scent?
Airline and airport lounges, VIP and private-jet terminals, airport hotels and terminal shops are the usual starting points. Large arrival and check-in halls are usually scented through HVAC where the air handling allows. Areas near food service are left lighter or unscented.
Can one fragrance run across lounges in several airports?
Yes. An airline or lounge operator can keep one signature scent in every lounge, with the equipment chosen for each space and serviced locally in Thailand, the Philippines and Malaysia.
Do you make claims about how scent affects passengers?
No. Scent Up presents airport scenting as part of the atmosphere and the brand, never as something that changes passengers' mood, health or spending.
How much does airport and lounge scenting cost?
In Thailand the monthly scent service starts at ฿999 per diffuser a month, excluding 7% VAT, for a space of up to 20 sq.m., and the model and price rise with the size of the area, to ฿4,490 a month for HVAC scenting of a whole floor or building. It includes the diffuser, installation, service and fragrance oil. A terminal or multi-lounge project is quoted after a site visit.
