Where it fits
The ST-5000B is for spaces too large, or too divided, for standalone diffusers: whole hotel floors, shopping-centre zones, office buildings, casinos and large showrooms. It connects to the central air-conditioning (HVAC) system, so fragrance travels with the air already moving through the building and reaches every room the system serves, with no units in sight. Scent Up uses it for spaces from 801 sq.m. upwards.
How it works
The unit is installed at the air-handling side of the system and holds a 1-litre bottle. Concentration has several levels, and time programming covers the full 24 hours. Settings are made on its touch panel or through the mobile app over Bluetooth. It also has a UV sterilization function. It draws 15 W.
Size and installation
One unit is rated for 1,000–1,600 m² (3,000–5,000 m³). Larger buildings are scented with several units across their air-handling units, and Scent Up surveys the system before recommending how many. The housing is a black steel casing with a white acrylic panel, 270 × 105 × 325 mm and 5.7 kg, with a safe-lock design. Read more about HVAC scenting.
