What the ST-SP260 is
The ST-SP260 is an automatic alcohol dispenser for hand sanitiser. It mounts on a wall, senses a hand held underneath it and releases one dose on its own. Nothing is pressed, so the unit stays clean between users. It suits any place where people arrive and touch things: entrances, reception desks, lift lobbies, washrooms, waiting areas, office corridors and public buildings.
How it works
An infrared sensor under the nozzle detects the hand and triggers one dose. A status light shows the unit is ready. The 1,000 ml tank takes liquid alcohol sanitiser, and the dispenser delivers it as a spray, a drip or a foam, depending on the sanitiser you fill it with. A window on the front shows how much is left, so refilling can be planned without opening the unit.
Power
The ST-SP260 runs on 4 C batteries (not included), so it needs no power point. Where a socket is nearby, a DC adapter can be used instead.
Design and installation
A white ABS housing, 261 × 121 × 107 mm, slim enough for a corridor and plain enough to sit beside any interior. It mounts on the wall in either of two ways: with the adhesive tape on the back plate, or with screws through the plate's keyhole slots, which are 80 mm apart at the top, 72 mm at the bottom and 94 mm vertically.
